Masking and Packing
Masking for painting and powder coating is important for various reasons:
Parts that need to be assembled or have a tight fit tolerance. Components that have holes for bearings or bushes or other critical size considerations. Both internal and external threads need to be adequately masked. Mating surfaces and electrical earthing points all need to be masked for correct functionality.
A wide range of masking materials are available. We use various sizes of masking tape, alongside bespoke die cut adhesive shapes. Usually supplied on rolls, these are designed to fit the parts perfectly. Tapered plugs and caps are often used to blank off holes, and silicon tubing is also a versatile blanking option.
Prior to despatch, finished parts are carefully packed to prevent damage during transit.
We pride ourselves on our paint and coating finishes and expect you to receive your products in perfect condition.
Please feel free to ask us – we are always on hand for technical information for your products.
